Every day science fiction becomes science fact; soft robots reusable rockets, prosthetic heart valves, delivery drones, hydrogen-powered cars and unmanned ships to name but a few.

But what’s coming next?

Join UCL Mechanical Engineering for an entertaining, thought provoking, sci-fi-tinged live showcase, exploring our exciting, diverse current research and tomorrow’s potential engineering wonders.

The packed showcase will feature a blend of film, music and presentations about biomechanics, nerve engineering, nanotechnology, future energy, tomorrow’s transport, medical robots and more.

Hosted by academics and broadcasters Dr Helen Czerski and Professor Mark Miodownik, the show will feature a very special performance from UK science comedy phenomenon ‘Festival of the Spoken Nerd’.
