UCL Mechanical Engineering and UCL Chemical Engineering are jointly hosting the 4th Micro and Nano Flows Conference (MNF2014), taking place in the UCL Roberts Engineering Building from 7- 10 September 2014.
More than 150 delegates from the international microfluidics community are expected to attend plus a number of exhibitors and publishers. Some 145 talks are planned covering thermal and fluid aspects of micro and nano flows, encompassing both thermofluids engineering and biomedical fluid mechanics, modeling and experimentation.
The programme includes six keynote lectures by established researchers in the field, two minisymposia (on Mathematical Modelling of Multiphase flows and on Biomedical microfluidics of lab-on-a-chip technology ) as well as an expert session on New Ultrafine Optical Measurement Methods.
The conference will be officially opened by the UCL’s President & Provost, Professor Michael Arthur on Monday 8th September.
