Mr Santiago Suárez De La Fuente wins IMarEST Stanley Gray Fellowship

The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) awards a Stanley Gray Fellowship every year to a selected candidate judged to be of outstanding potential to enable a significant piece of work to be undertaken in an approved maritime engineering/science/technology subject to Doctorate (PhD) or post-Doctorate level. Mr Suárez De La Fuente is supervised by Dr Alistair Greig and he is investigating the opportunities for waste heat recovery on board ships.

Santiago Suarez De La Fuente “I am really happy to have won the IMarEST Stanley Gray Fellowship. This award encourages me to keep on working hard to find greener solutions for the shipping industry. I want to thank Dr Greig for his valuable advice and guidance which gave shape to my project. Also, I am grateful to Dr Balachandran and Dr Suen for their useful insights in this process”
