Research outline

An overview of different wireless charging technologies of electric vehicles. Design and optimization of wireless power transfer technology for electric vehicles. Integration of Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology in a smart power grid network.


Babatunde Olukotun received his B.Eng degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria in 2010 and obtained his MSc degree from University College London in 2014. Currently, he is working towards his PhD degree in power systems engineering at University College London. His research interests includes smart grid, power electronics, electric vehicles and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology. Currently, he focuses on the optimization of wireless charging of electric vehicles and efficient integration of V2G technology in a smart power grid.
