Research Outline

Investigating warship electrical power system performance when integrating energy storage systems


Luke Farrier is a Marine Engineering Research Assistant, undertaking a PhD investigating power system performance when integrating energy storage systems. Prior to this he obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Exeter. After which he completed the graduate scheme with MoD Defence Equipment and Support, where he was involved with ship design and build projects, and where he obtained his MSc in Marine Engineering from UCL.
