Eleanor Doman

Academic Background

Eleanor received a first class honours in Mathematics at University College London in 2016. Throughout her undergraduate she focused on applied mathematics, developing an interest in the applications of mathematics to medicine. Eleanor’s fourth year project was on slightly viscous flow through a network, supervised by Professor Frank Smith.

In 2016, she joined the Mathematics Department at UCL as a PhD student and is studying nerve mechanics under the supervision of Dr Nick Ovenden, Dr Rebecca Shipley and Dr James Phillips.

Eleanor is funded through a UCL Mathematics Teaching Assistantship.
