Ri.MED Foundation – Bioengineering Group

Our Lab work has a strong collaborative relationship with the Bioengineering Group at the Ri.MED Foundation, Italy, for the general purposes of joint scientific cooperation.

The Foundation, based in Palermo, was established in 2006 with an international partnership between the Italian Government, the Region of Sicily, the Italian National Research Council (CNR), the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), to promote, support and lead biomedical and biotechnological research projects, with emphasis on the translation of innovative results into clinical practice.
