What we expect from our partners
We welcome ideas for projects, preferably accompanied by existing materials (e.g. physical parts, results of previous design/feasibility/research studies).
The students are very highly motivated and spend at least half of the academic year working on this design project. Therefore we expect them to work on something appropriately challenging. This project is akin to a “thesis” in graduate degrees.
We also need a nominal representative who meets with the students at least once monthly (either in person – when costs allow – or remotely) to discuss their progress. The purpose of this representative is to mentor or guide the students to a design solution that meets the partner’s needs.
